Around the world

Through Rotary International

A club of thirty people in a village of seven thousand can put a generator in a Ukrainian town in a week because there is a Rotary club on the other end. That is the point of belonging to the world's largest service network.

  • Ukraine relief, 2022

$10,000 raised in about two weeks and sent through sister club Rotary Giżycko in Poland for food, hygiene supplies, generators, power banks and radios.

  • Turkey earthquake, 2023

    $3,500 for earthquake relief.

  • PolioPlus

District 7230 was the highest-contributing district in Zone 32 in 2023-24, with 100% of our members giving.

  • Clean water, literacy and sight

Eye-surgery equipment in Egypt, literacy programs in Myanmar, an ambulance for Afghanistan with a neighboring club, and Superstorm Sandy relief in 2013.
