Community Pancake Breakfast

One Saturday morning each fall, members take over a school cafeteria kitchen and cook pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage from scratch for the whole village.

The breakfast began when returning World War II servicemen started the Community Scholarship Fund, and it has been the club's signature event for more than 75 years. Today it funds two $2,500 scholarships for graduating Pleasantville High School seniors through the Fund, and local businesses support it by buying ads on the placemat. Recent breakfasts have drawn the Mayor, the Superintendent, the County Legislator and the State Senate Majority Leader to the greeting line.

Generous Pour Pleasantville

An afternoon under the tent on Wheeler Avenue with thirty-plus Hudson Valley wineries, breweries, distilleries and cideries, food from village restaurants, live music and raffles.

Generous Pour is the 2026 successor to two decades of club tasting events: the Westchester Wine Experience (2001 to 2016, about $250,000 raised) and Hudson Valley Fermented (2017 to 2025, about $150,000 raised). Moving it into the heart of the village put the money closer to home too: every dollar supports sixteen Pleasantville and Mount Pleasant organizations.
