Mayor Peter Scherer becomes an honorary member
The club welcomed Pleasantville Mayor Peter Scherer as its newest honorary member in recognition of his years of support for the Pancake Breakfast and the community.
A Rotary honorary membership is a distinction a club awards to people, Rotarians from other clubs or not, who have distinguished themselves through service or demonstrated support for Rotary ideals: creating opportunities for service, promoting high ethical standards in every vocation, applying the ideal of service in personal and professional life, and fostering peace and understanding.
The Mayor has generously attended and supported our Pancake Breakfast every year, and we are grateful for his continued support of our club and community. Please join us in congratulating Mayor Scherer.
