Celebrating the women who represent us
On International Women's Day the club thanked the women serving Pleasantville in county and state government.
International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. We celebrated the women representing all of us in their districts and in New York State, and thanked them for their public service: Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Assemblymember Mary Jane Shimsky, County Legislator and fellow Rotarian Margaret Cunzio, and New York State Commissioner of Children and Family Services Dr. DaMia Harris-Madden.
